The backlight on my wife's laptop died about a month ago. I assumed it was the backlight but we haven't done anything yet. Reading more, I noticed the DC power supply board has a seperate output for the network controller, which died about a week before the display. So now it seems the power supply board is probably the problem. Can anyone confirm this (within reason) before I go ahead and order a replacement part?

Thanks!
