GD8 Pro DVD problem

Hello all,

I recently installed a GD8 Pro motherboard in my PC, but I cannot boot
from DVD anymore. My Pioneer DVD writer isn't recognized in the BIOS,
but it's working fine in Windows Vista.

I checked all the jumper settings, cables, ..., even tried to clear the
CMOS, but it had no effect. Besides the DVD writer, I have 2 SATA hard
drives connected to sata 1 & 2. Both of them work fine.


Is there anyone who might be able to help me with this problem?
