Help! IBM Thinkpad 755CE modem/soundcard not responding

The modem in my IBM Thinkpad 755CE also appears to be a sound card.
The self test program says the serial ports and something called a DSP
are fine, but windows '95 says there is no soundcard installed, and
Internet explorer says the modem is being used by another program.

What are the correct settings for the serial ports (ir & DSP - I am
not using ir) in Easy Setup?
