Hi,

I'm trying to re-partition the original 40G hdd that came with my
brand new Dell. It has only (1) 40G partition.

When finished, Partition Manager advises that the procedure could not
be completed because the Boot Virus Protection is enabled in my BIOS.

I find absolutely no option listed in my BIOS for disabling any Boot
Virus Protection.

How frustrating is that!

Thanks for any help you can give...even a little sympathy would help
about now!

You seem to be correct, but have you looked at the
PXE BIS Default Policy setting? If set to deny might
be your problem. Anyway try reversing the setting or
set the system to the defaults.

it wouldn't work. Perhaps I should try one of the other options there.
