my MB supports pc100 sdram and when i put 256mb pc133 it only see around
155mb.
should i change something in bios? or what?
mb: DFI CW35S

hi

try reducing the RAM in the BIOS to what your motherboard can accept

such as reducing the speed to pc100 instead of running the full pc133
and also find out how much RAM your motherboard can except and if it
can not accept all the 256MB reduce that to what your motherboard will
work on, it looks to me like you are using an old motherboard or a low
spec one

Do you have Windows 98 or an earlier version installed? I'm not sure
how much memory Win 98 supports, but it isn't far from 128mb...
