Hello
I baught a few months ago a second PC under windowsXPfamily. The salesman
told me I had two slots USB 2.0. I did need them until now, I baught a
DVD burner which is under USB 2.0. the salesman did not give me any
document concerning the motherboard so I do notknow if I have really USB
2.0
Please can you let me know if there is way to test the outlets and to find
out, for sure, which one is USB 1 and which one is USB 2.
thank you

First, your computer must have:
1. XP SP1a installed
2. XP USB update installed
3. USB 2-compatible USB Host Controllers. This might mean updated
chipset/device drivers, depending on the CPU and/or mainboard.

If these conditions apply to your computer, the USB Host Controllers
will have the word "Enhanced" in the Device Manager description.
