With the Jetdirect card installed and the printer powered on print a
configuration page by pressing the GO and JOB CANCEL buttons simultaneously,
the second page that prints will provide the Jetdirect information. If only one
page prints the indication is that the printer cannot find the Jetdirect card.
If the second page prints, check the ip address is valid as well as the other
network information. If there is a valid ip address, from the PC select RUN and
type
ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
where XXX etc is the ip adddress on the printout and see if the printer
responds, if it does then the Jetdirect card is working correctly and you may
have a cable or PC problem.
NVRAM reset for the LJ2200 is as follows.
*Caution - this will reset the the jetdirect card parameters including the ip
address etc. To prevent this happening, remove the jetdirect card before
initiating a cold reset.*
Turn printer power off.
Press and HOLD the GO button.
Turn printer power on, continue to hold GO until all three lights turn on,
release GO.
Wait until the light sequence stops.
