HP LJ 8100 prints blank page after every job

Has anybody seen this problem before? Any idea why it happens?

It can be configured to do so. Check the driver and other configuration for the
settings for separator pages, banner pages and such.

Please detail what/how you are printing from?

How is it connected? what software are you printing from? What
spooling facility are you using? etc...

I'm just doing a basic 'cat foo.ps > /dev/printers/0' over a parallel
cable... I'm not using the Windows driver.

What does `gs foo.ps` show? Is there NO blank page at the end?

Now THAT is a good question! Why not print a sample Postscript document with
known properties and printed result? ... Ben Myers
