If it runs OK with EITHER 1GB SODIMM, but not both, there is a defect in the
notebook computer hardware. If it runs OK with one SODIMM, but not the other,
one of the SODIMMs is defective. Have you run the computer with each single
1GB SODIMM yet?
Examine the SODIMM sockets closely for damage. Was the original computer setup
1x512MB or 2x256MB? ... Ben Myers
