The short answer is yes, it is possible. The problem is that it is by no
means easy to create a working connection between the two.
The biggest problem is setting up all the parts of the networking stack on
both the printer and notebook so that they believe they are on the same
TCP/IP subnet.
In other terms, 1) Same 802.11 SSID 2) Same security level 3) TCP/IP
addresses that are part of the same subnet.
