I am considering buying the HP quickdock for use with my Pavilion
dv1000.

I understand that I will need to use the included "expansion accessory
adapter" and that the video and stereo microphone ports will not work.

My question is, has anyone actually seen or used the "expansion
accessory adapter", and what is it like? i.e. - does it work well, how
big is it, what does it look like, is it easy to connect to?

I can't seem to find a picture or description of it anywhere.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, but I don't see a picture of the "expansion accessory adapter"
there, just the quickdock itself. Am I missing something?

It is a little plug adapter about 2" square and 1/2" thick.
