All I can tell you is that the USB supplied by the Intel 82371AB/EB is USB 1.1
at best. If the ScanJet 2400 absolutely requires USB 2.0, I can foresee two
problems. The USB 1.1 hardware won't operate with the ScanJet 2400 software.
Winddows 98 (SE I hope) provides poor, if any, support for USB 2.0. There may
be USB 2.0 patches for Win 98 somewhere, and you would also need a USB 2.0
add-in PCI card... Ben Myers
