Hello,

I've acquired an HP StorageWorks C6365AX which is an external,
rack-mountable DDS drive for backups.

It has a 68pin SCSI-connector which appears to have a non-standard external
SCSI header. It rather looks like an SCA connector. I would have expected a
68pin Sub-HD connector instead.

Can anyone point me to a suitable cable or will a standard SCA cable
suffice?

Also, do I have to take care of termination or is the device
auto-terminating?

Thanks in advance!

got it myself: This is an easy-plug connector as it appears in Omnibook
notebook drive modules, just with more pins. It's designed to plug into the
StorageWorks rack mountable drive cabinet.

But I wonder: is there an HP P/N for the DDS drive external easy-plug
connector to run the drive without the cabinet?

I need the HP P/N for the drive-to-host cable. SCA cables won't suffice.

You have to take care of termination according to the SCSI rules yourself.
