HP VLi8 80Gb disk problem

My sisters HP VLi8 has the latest bios, but still the new Fujitsu 80Gb disk
is recognize by bios as about 31Gb disk. What now?

Install an add-in ATAPI/EIDE controller card with its own BIOS supporting larger
