HP2055

Hallo,
have 2 questions about my new HP-2055 printer.
1., When printing is ready, the running noise still is very long, though I
use "quiet mode". At my former printer HP1300 this was only about 2 seconds,
but now more than 10! Can I adjust this anywhere?

2., The tray 1 should always be priority (in former time it was). But now if
a program sends the job to tray 2 and I put a paper to 1, it is printed from
paper-feed 2! Is this normal?
