Hi,
somehow these two printers don't like each other.
When we bought the HP5100 laserjet and installed it, there were no problems
on our network.
Recently we bought an HP4600 color laser and now we get regulary (about
10-20 times a day)
that our NT4-server kicks out the spooler.
No one can print than.
Turn power of of the 4600 and all goes well.
Anyone experience with this kind of problem and/or how to solve this?
We also have an HP5000 laserjet (an older brother of the 5100) and thatone
runs fine, no matter who
prints or what system it comes from.
Server: NT4, service pack 6
Printer: HP5100, shared, installed on the server and (on advice) locally on
some pc's.
Printer: HP4600, shared, installed on the server.
OS's: mix of win98 and win-XP-pro
