HI..
Printer is almost a month old and sure have had some problems. 1st.
Does anyone's printer make a LOT of noise ? (enough to make one jump
when it starts printing) and it really Shakes so hard I am going to that
I'm going to have to put it on a stand alone table .
and .. I have tried to print a jpg using "BEST" as the printing mode.
ISn't that supposed to be the very best copy ? I tried it 2 times and
the jpg printed in color but you could hardly see it because it
printed a dark gray color over it . I didn't select "Grayscale"..I
select the Color Cartridge and Best as printing mode. This has happened
both times I've selected "Best" ..
thank you much

I have the HP PSC 750XI and it is quiet and no shaking at all. Maybe
yours is defective and should be exchanged.

I use a PSC 2210 both at home and at work and do not have any issues with noise
or vibration. You should call HP support tool-free at 1-800-HPINVENT
(474-6836) for warranty service.

If you are using the HP Printing and Imaging Editor version software you should
check the following for a workaround:
http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/documen...Name=c00001927

I believe there is a new driver which also addresses this issue, but it is a
rather large download:

Hi Have a PSC 2210 (the model up) and it doesn't shake or print incorrectly.

Sounds like you have a faulty one there.

Why don't you change it for a 2210 much better at printing and scanning,
plus you have the added fax option.
