Samsung 172B's AC-DC convertor is outside mntr's casing, but this HP
mntr's convertor* is inside casing, so heat from * is inside casing unless
a fan is ( tediously ) fitted to suck out this heat, then this mntr gives a [i]
much brighter image [ii] cooler glass surface [iii] slightly faster pixel
response ( clearer moving text ). The more heat is sucked out, the bigger
are these 3 improvements.
Designer should not put * inside casing yet exclude an exhaust fan, looks
to me like bad economy. Designer should @ least put a slot ( square &
flat ) on a grille, & power pins, for an optional fan.
Owners of similar mntr can fit a 6cm fan onto mntr's hottest grille, & get
the same improvements as mine.
