Hey all - I have a problem with a IBM PC300PL. At every boot the 3.5
floppy changes to a 5.25 floppy drive. I make the changes in the BIOS
and save them but every time I reboot it asks to accept changes to be
made and it doesn't matter if I accept or ignore the changes it still
sees the drive as a 5.25 floppy drive. Any help would be great,
thanks a lot!!

Boy, I'm as mystified as you are. I would suggest that you search
every conceivable line in your bIOS for mention of 5.25 floppy drives
and DISABLE, DISABLE, DISABLE. There may be one setting that is
overwriting your seeting.

Other than that, I would contact the mfr of the mobo, OR, the BIOS.

Sory I can't do much more.

Is the drive connected to the end connector of the floppy drive ribbon
cable?
