IC7/IC7-G question

Other than 2 more plugins for SATA drives, how much do these boards
differ from one another?

In addition to the Silicon Image SiI3112 PCI SATA-RAID controller you've
already noticed, the IC7 also lacks the IC7-G's Intel CSA gigabit ethernet
adapter. The IC7 has no onboard LAN at all.
