What are the pro and cons of each of the following options. I intend to
upgrade to Vista and use it for general use and applications like photoshop.

(1) XGA w/TruLife
(2) UltraSharp Wide Screen WXGA+ w/TruLife
(3) UltraSharp Wide Screen SXGA+ w/TruLIfe

I'm leaning toward the (3). Any one having trouble with this size? Should I
just stick to (1), or go for the (2)? Tks..

I'm not sure which is which. My display is 1680x1050 (I think...I
forget the actual resolution). It was the highest resolution display
at the time in the 15.4" model. I wouldn't really want to go any
higher. The display is nice an crisp, but I would only recommend it to
someone with good eyes....because everything (icons, text, etc.) is
*small*. Yes, you can reduce your resolution, but that results in
jagged edges and some blurring. Yes, you can increase your font
size/icon size (and any other size, for that matter), but I find the
end result isn't as pleasing as the default Windows text/icon/window
proprotions.

Would I change my decision? Nope. I'm quite happy with the display.
