How do I upgrade WinXP SP/2 to Vista Ultimate? My Dell HD has a special 100
MB boot sector on my HD so how do I install Vista without screwing everything
up? Anyone have a URL?

That's not a boot sector. It is probably a diagnostic partition. Installing
Vista will not mess it up. Doing an upgrade is not generally recommended for
Windows, even if you have the less expensive upgrade version. The Windows
Secrets newsletter published a complete description of how to install the
upgrade on a newly formatted hard disk. Save your data first and plan to
reinstall all your programs, hoping they will work properly with Vista. Good
luck... Ben Myers
