I have a P4VXASD2+ mb with a Celeron 1.6. What kind of improvement can I
expect if I change to an Intel 2.4. Yes it is a Fry's deal. The Celeron just
seems slow especially when connected to the internet or when I have multiple
programs open. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

A lot of improvement. For a start youre gaining 800MHz in raw clock
speed which is not to be sniffed at. Secondly, and perhaps much more
importantly, you're going from a Celeron to a Pentium. Even going from a
Celeron to a P4 of the same speed is a significant improvement.
Of course the amount of difference you'll notice depends on the usage,
but it should smooth things out and speed them up a bit.
