Hi all -

I need the DOS LAN drivers for the IS7-E for imaging. What NIC is onboard
on the IS7-E ? I can tell from the CD it is either RealTek or 3COM, but I
can't tell which model....

TIA

-Mike

device manager doesn't tell you anything? from what I have heard, Abit did
not even stick to what their marketing materials said were on the board for
the early boards so it could be anybodies guess...

I'd take a look at Device Manager and see what it says or see if the drivers
that are loaded give you any tips...

Hey -

I haven't loaded Windows yet... I needed the DOS driver to dump down an XP
image. However after some research I found the driver I needed (from Asus's
website!). The NIC is a 3Com 3C940. Interesting, it is 10/100/1000 - but
Abit advertises this board as just a 10/100. And on the CD they include
Windows drivers for RealTek AND 3COM NICs... hmmmmmmmmmm

good luck with it and post back if you are able to get it working in DOS.
