IS7 Mystery Cable

I just received my IS7 MB to build my first PC. In the box is a cable not
mentioned in the manuals. One end is a panel that mounts in a rear panel IO
slot and contains an IEEE 1394 connector on top and 2 USB connectors on the
bottoms. In the middle is a small 4 pin connector. What is this small 4 pin
connector and where does the other end of the cable from it connect to the
MB?

This is probably a simple question but I haven't a clue. Any help would be
appreciated.

Gary

that is a cable to provide additional 1394 and USB ports to the rear panel
and connects to two header sets on the mobo. in my manual, it is detailed
on pages 2-12 & 2-13 as far as the headers that the cables connect to.
according to the manual, the additional 1394 connector headers are not on
some models of the board.

sorry! I did not correctly read your post! so there is an additional
connector *in between* the USB and 1394? what appears to be connected to
that on the inside of the slot panel? what type of plug is on the other end
of the cable that connects to the middle port? anything like a hard drive
power connector or what?
