Not happy to hear this, Tom. OTOH, isn't the AI7 using a different Realtek
LAN chipset? Or was that the on board sound elctronics that's using a
different set from previous Abit boards?

The AI7-G, which I have not seen, has a gigabit controller on it. Not sure
of the flavor. The AI7, has a RealTek 8100C 10/100 NIC, looking at it as I
type. according to the manual, it also has the AC97 audio set on it.

Have you done any testing to see if the AI7 has the same kind of high
percentage of fragged packets as some of the other Abit boards?

kind of LAN stuff?

have a copy under /drivers/IS7. It may be under IS7 but it is the same NIC
so it will work of other RealTek based NIC's.
