I just played around with iTunes 9 and a music video. It has separate
playback preferences for different types of videos and there are some
bad GUI quirks.
The lower-left of the iTunes main window has a row of buttons. If
there's no image there, click the [^] button to show the preview image.
Click the preview image. This opens the video window but it can be
behind the main window. Select it in the 'Windows' menu.
