Hi guys,
I have a cranky old K7AMA (v1.0) mobo with an athlonXP 1700 running in it. various games are refusing to run because my processor 'doesnt support SSE instructions'. now, i've discovered that SSE is a successor to the MMX Intel put into Pentium chips back in the day, and my Athlon should support them just fine.
so i think the mobo is disabling this feature somehow. i've already flashed the BIOS to the latest version i can find (dated 02/08/12 - its an old system!).
does anyone know what might be going on?
