A Google search of the string [K7s5a driver "Via 2.58"] returns zero hits. I
was assuming that the person making the post in the first place would know a
location that was relavent to K7s5a and the Via 2.58 driver. I don't believe
asking for this was out of line anymore than your response!

Sometimes a search can be too specific, as Al Franken showed his last
book, Lies And The Lying Liars Who Tell Them, pp. 15-16. But a search
for just "VIA 2.58" returned lots of hits, including from ECS, Soyo,
and DFI, and generally any VIA download can be found at
www.viaarena.com, which also has several forums.

Simply type: Via 2.58 and click Search. K7S5A is not relevant to what
you're looking for. How could ECS know you were going to buy a VIA
controlled USB 2 card and install it in their mobo? There's no reason they
should supply that driver "just in case" someone using an old OS that works
with their USB 1.1 cares to upgrade, that's on you or if you bought the
K7S5A Pro, it comes with USB 2.

My bad, I was under the impression that this driver was needed by my K7s5a mobo,
not a card! Thanks for clearing that up.

Thanks, for some reason I was thinking I needed these drivers for my k7s5a
motherboard, which Smoker just clarified, so I don't need them at this time,
where ever they come from!
