k7s5a pro and usb2.0 help needed

after messing with my previous mobo k7s5a and wrecking it
ive installed this nw mb with new cpu
however dont understand usb installation
is this mean to work with win98se?
what do i need to install from installation cd
i tried via usb driver and got mesage
"unable to usb device id"
onloading windows asks for sis 7001
and via tech 3038

Windows 98 will not natively support USB 2. Microsoft refused to write USB 2
drivers for it. ECS wrote thier own Win98 drivers which are on the CD. When
Win98 asks for the drivers for the USB 2 devices, just point it to the USB
drivers on the CD. Worked for me.

The USB drivers supplied on the MB disc don't install very well. I had
to search for some drivers for the VIA USB chip elsewhere. My usb 2.0
controller is working fine with Win98 SE.

Something that's confusing is that there are two USB controllers
onboard. It's easier to sort it out if you disable all the USB 1.1 in
the BIOS. This leaves just the USB 2.0 chip to install drivers for
initially. Once you get them working then go back and turn on the
other USB and let it find the SIS 1.1 drivers on the Win installation
disc. Good luck!
