New case, new psu? Several boards from Fry's? Doesn't sound like cmos
battery to me. Sounds like the PC100 don't work, a short between case and
mb or faulty pci/cable connection. I had post problems caused by a loose
ATX on/off switch. If you took the mb back to Frys' they can test post it
for you.
K7S5As are very particular about power and memory. OEM memory from Frys' is
not the right quality. Strongly suggest 1 stick of ECS recommended PC133 or
PC2100 memory.
