Neither Win2K or XP will just automagically redetect the motherboard
hardware if you change them. The HAL is too complex for that.
When you change motherboards you need to do a repair install. That
will redetect the hardware but save the data and installed programs.
Have to redo the service packs, I.E. updates, and such (since they're
not on the original CD).
