KB942615 Cumulative Security Update for IE - Post Install Issue

I saw the IE6 "Crash?Hang/Send MS a Report" problem occasionally even before
the latest update. The last time I did any XP SP2 critical updates was May
2007. The Regedit seems to have worked, I have only had one incident after
it.

For my machine, IE v.6 crashed *every time* that I went to
mail.Yahoo.com . Since I have Visual Studio (2005) installed,
Visual Studio asked if I wanted to debug upon every crash of IE.
It crashed on other sites, too - some always, some intermittently.
It was a very persistent and prominent feature of IE until I backed
out the patch. I'm amazed that it got past Microsoft testing.

Thanks. And... I'll wait a couple weeks for MS Update to come
up with the patch for the original problem that incorporates the "fix".
Patches to patches, some of which have to be reversed, can turn into
Gummy Balls in my experience.
