I'm looking for a way to keep my computer from logging me off when I'm
idle over a brief period of time. Using the Apple's help files I was
able to figure out how to avoid turning off the hard disk & display
but I still get logged out. I've searched Goggle but I've yet to come
up with anything.

Do any of you know a way to avoid logging out?

Under Security in System Preferences there is a checkbox:
Log out after N minutes of inactivity
