Indeed, it will. Unfortunately, Apple would not license the MagSafe to
BookendzDocks. But the new 24" Apple Cinema Display comes with a MagSafe
outlet [and built-in iSight camera] reducing the need for an extra
MagSafe. But it had been easier had the dock been equipped with such
one.

they won't license it to anyone. it's really stupid.

Yes;-(.

Also, it is stupid that they don't allow access to the Calendar and
Clock/Alarm APIs in the SDK for the iPhone ;-(:

Well, I do find iCal beneath contempt, especially the one for iPhone. I
use Pocket Informant instead - but it has to synchronize through Google
Calendar [caledar items] and ToodleDo [tasks]. On Mac BusyCal might
evolve into something similar.

I have a Rain Design's mStand. It's a bit expensive for just a
chunk of aluminum, but it's way way cheaper than those bookendz
docks and does exactly what I wanted it to do (MBP in use with
external kbd, mouse, display).
