kt7a 1.3 xp2200 bootup issue

I thought the kt7a would run the xp 2200? I upgraded the bios but it
hangs at the memory test with a blinking cursor. I replaced the old
cpu and everything runs fine. Any idea? I'm running a western digital
80gig if that has anything to do with it.

It's trying to boot at 2000MHz. You can try to boot with your old cpu and
set vcore to 1.85v and user defined multiplier of 7 and FSB to 100. Save
and shut down. Put the 200+ in and try to boot. If you make it, go into
bios and set accordingly. See Multiplier cross ref. in link below. BTW,
that 7 will be remapped to 15 when you boot with the 2200+.
