KV-80 motherboard

Just assembled a machine using the KV-80. Running AMD 64 3000+.
Loaded win2k pro and supplied drivers. Installed Geforce FX5200 video
card. Keyboard and mouse locked up. Installed latest drivers for
video card. Lock-up problem resolved. No sound. Uninstalled video
card and drivers, uninstall aBit sound drivers and re-instill. Still
no sound. All updates installed before installing FX5200 card.
Cleared bios and started over.

Any suggestions.

I have the KV-8 PRO, had all sorts of probs with the onboard sound, ended up
buying a sound card and disabling the onboard. The onboard was actually
better than the one I bought, but, at least, now I have sound...
