Hi All,

I have L8 autoloader -I have it all connected- I was able to do backup
from windows machine and unix.

I read through the book which mentions a bit about "stackers"
Is my L8 a stacker?

I installed the jukebox. And I was able to maually back up windows(XP
workstation) machine and unix(the server that this SSE7.2 is loaded
on).
But the next day I wanted to backup data on the 2nd volume (2nd tape)
and it didnt do so. When I unmounted and try to mount the 2nd volume
kept getting "eject in progress"

So today I didnt a resintallation of the L8 with jukebox. On L8 I
enabled autoload
"verify label of svr-001 not in media index"

And mostly just freezes.

Help.

I also read that it only goes to the next volume with the pervious
volume is full .. is that so or am I taking it out of context?

I want to do off site montly storage for these tapes media so I need
the data from previous nite to be on 1 tape.
