Laserjet 5 - Dirty Vertical Line

I have an LJ5 that has a problem in the printed output. It produces a
very noticable vertical line along the left side of the paper, about
1/4 in from the left edge. The streak runs the entire vertical
length.
I replace all the rollers, transfer roller, and fuser yesterday, but
the line continues. I have also run the cleaning program from HP.

I believe the problem is with the toner cartidge and will replace that
tomorrow, however, any thoughts or comments would be greatly
appreciated.

Pull the toner cartridge and look at the drum. If the line is there, you've
found your problem.
