Friend has an HP Vectra VL with a celeron processor.

This computer is "Locked". There is a button on the keyboard to 'lock' the
computer.
It has somehow accidently been locked. The computer will not boot up.
There is
an amber light on the front of the computer. Above this light is a small
lock icon. This
computer was given to her. No manual.

Anyone know how to unlock this computer?

I think that button is a lock that takes a special key.
