Just wanting to let you know that mine died (powers up, but
no POST or beeping) after 1 week of operation. For 3 additional
days it could still be coaxed up by repeated atempts, but now
it is dead.
CPU: Athlon X2 5600+, 2x2GB Kingston ECC RAM, newest BIOS.
In addition its thermal design is really stupid, with
the network chip getting hot on its own and being in addition
mounted directly below the GFX card, almost as if they wanted
it to die from heat. The nothbridge cooler looks stylish but
is mostly ineffective and in addition badly mounted. Mine
felt loose out of the box.
Got the board as replacement for an Asus N2M32WS Professional
that had died from heat after only 2 years of maybe 8h/day
operation. "professional" indeed.
Who designs these boards? The new interns?
