M60 display panel

Following a warm summer and the usual appearance of thunder bugs, a few set
up home (and unfortunately their final resting place) inside the display
panel.

Looking through the service instructions it's relatively easy to get to and
remove the panel but I cannot see any way to further strip down the panel to
get to these blighters.

anyone attempted this repair on theirs or have experience on another make.
