memory - 2 modules versus 4

I just purchased a pair of good 1 GB ddr2 modules for the Abit AB9
Quad and I will eventually be going up to 4 GB total memory. Would I
be better off returning the memory I have and getting a pair of 2 gb
modules with looser timings, or keep the faster memory I have and add
2 more when I am ready?

Pros / cons or running 2 versus 4 modules?

Andy
