Hi,
I have been reading allot about dual-channel-ddr tech, and from what I am
seeing in reviews it appears that dual-ddr performs allot better on an INTEL
system than an AMD. I was wondering if any of you guys (or girls, where?)
have had *hands-on* experience with both AMD and INTEL systems. In some of
the benchmarks I saw even a P4c 2.4GHz managed to outperform an AMD 3200+ in
memory benchmarks. I have had no experience with DDR memory, let-alone
dual-channel-ddr, at the moment I am still using 512MB Crucial PC133 cas2
with 550E @733MHz. The reason I am asking this is that I am working on a
*value* build PC, using AMD T-Bred chips and if the dual-ddr performance is
lacking on the AMD platform I may scrap plans for N-Force2 and go KT400(a)
with a single stick (value PC remember!)
thanks for any insights, personal observations. . .
