Hello all,
I'm wanting to upgrade my PC main board & am unsure of what would be best compatible with my memory type I have. The only label on the memory is [4gb 2rx4 pc2-5300f-555-11-e1 DDR2] and purchased this a while back for when I am ready for said upgrade. Some people think that this is a specific server type of memory, in which case would I have to purchase a server main board? If I do would that fit into a tower case?
As I am ready now, I do not know if I should go down the AMD or Intel route as I'm unable to find any resource / info relating to my above mentioned memory type when I enter it into www searches.
I am wondering if any of you have experience of the above memory type going into a particular main board and would like to thank you in advance for any help that you can give.
