Is my HP320LX dead?

First, is this a sensible newsgroup for my query?
Or is there one that deals in particular with HP PDAs
(assuming PDA is a correct description of the 320LX).

Anyway, I hadn't used my 320LX for at least a year --
maybe as many as 3 years --
when I found it in a drawer the other day.
I installed new batteries
(both the round Lithium CR2032
and the rechargeable AA's, which were charged).
But when I clicked On nothing happened.

Is there anything I can try,
or must I dispatch this to the dead device cemetery?

There is an 'alt.comp.sys.palmtops.hp' group.
