Your problem is not with the video card, assuming it is working properly. Browsing is not video intensive. Video requirements for DVD play are minimal; no 3D, and low resolution can be used. I use a 7 year old AGP 1 card, with a 1.26 Ghz Pentium 3, which I have never upgraded because I am not a gamer.
