n3295 DVD can't read

I have a Pavillion n3295 notebook computer with a DVD reader (no writer on
this notebook).

It is able to read all commercial DVDs and also CDs and even CDRs, however
it cannot read any DVDs that I burn on my desktop DVD burner. The disks are
readable by other computers, just not my notebook.

Any suggestions?
