Need drivers for Gateway e-4000

Hello group,

Since I have limited storage and bandwidth, I have given what drivers I have to the folks over at mpcdrivers.com. If you are looking for Gateway drivers, please try there first.

I have never actually posted here before. My previous posts originated from Usenet where I used to spend most of my time. Apparently Motherboard Point was mirroring those Usenet posts. However, AT&T, my service provider, no longer provides Usenet service and I have not taken the time to set up a Usenet account with another company. So, I thought I would register here and check in to let you know where you can find the drivers that used to be on my site.

I stumbled upon this thread while looking for information on the e-4000, because I, like Jim, the original poster just acquired one used from professional surplus.

I just installed XP Pro on mine and it is a good system. I also tested it with Freespire Linux running from a CD and everything worked beautifully without changing anything.

I hope this will add to the usefulness of the thread so that people who find it looking for info on this valuable machine can find it.
