Need HELP for HP Scanjet 3200 c with XP Pro

Hi,

I have the following problem.
I'm ussing a HP Scanjet 3200c flatbed scanner under XP Pro
Sins today the lamp of the scanner is flikkering at the left side.
The scannerprogram does not see the scanner anymore.
I have uninstal and reinstal de scanner in the hardware and as software.
The problem didn't go away.
Does anyone know what the problem can be and better how to repair this
problem?
